In September of 1983, my life was totally transformed through a miraculous visitation from the Lord Jesus Christ. He sovereignly delivered me out of a Buddhist cult which masqueraded as a “world peace organization”. (See my testimony page for more details.)

After the Christian lady who had her whole church praying for my salvation gave me a Bible, the first book I read was Revelation. I had to know the end of the story.

When I read the thirteenth chapter, I wondered at a description of the beast:

“And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. (Rev 13: 3)

The description had similarities to the founder of the sect of Buddhism to which I had belonged! It confirmed to me the evil inherent in that false religious system. Now that founder was not the antichrist, but an antichrist. The spirit of antichrist has been around a very long time!

“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.”
(1 John 2:18)

It is logical that the spirit of antichrist expresses itself in a like manner producing many similar traits in those he controls. Yet while there have been many antichrists, there is THE antichrist that will fulfill all the prophecies and timing predicted by the word of God.

But there is much more to the book of Revelation than the predictions of the antichrist and pictures of the endtimes. There is a wonderful picture of Christ painted, the revelation of Jesus Christ. If you know Him, you won’t be fooled by counterfeits!

Over the years, the Spirit repeatedly brought me back to thorough and intense studies of the book of Revelation, especially the first three chapters, the letters to the churches. These chapters are sometimes skimmed over by prophecy buffs. However, it is crucial for the saints today to “hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches”. Come and hear.
